Why Join the Bedford Bowling Club?

· Our Women’s, Men’s and Any Gender Pennant teams are competitive and compete in a range of competitions during Pennant Season (October to March).

· The Club has regular competitive Social Bowls on Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from April until September.

· In the summer months the Club conducts a Social Bowls season featuring evening play during the warmer months. This is a great way to be introduced to the sport.

· Those wishing to try bowls for the first time can use bowls provided by the Club.

· Free coaching by fully qualified Coaches is available year round to both new and experienced bowlers.

· We enjoy a strong social life at the Club.

· Friday nights we have raffles, prize drawers, a jackpotting membership draw and meals available, prepared by the Club Chef.

Our Team

Our administration team is a mixture of individuals from all walks of life who all share a community spirit and a passion for the game of Lawn Bowls and its social engagement. We are dedicated to promote enjoyment and participation of all club members and for those who wish to hire our well appointed facilities.

Our Story

Perth's premier lawn bowls club and social event facility with venue hire.

Bedford Bowling Club is centrally situated in the heart of Bedford on the corner of Grand Promenade and Catherine Street, which is easily accessed by public transport or car.

Our Club’s motto is “Club Bedford – “Connecting With Community” and we see ourselves as an integral part of the sporting and social side of life in Bedford. In terms of size and membership when compared to other clubs we are somewhere about the middle, large enough to compete with what other clubs offer whilst being small enough to provide a positive, friendly and inclusive environment in which people can play and socialise

Friday Nights are when the Club comes alive. There are various raffles and draws happening from around 6.00pm culminating in the Members’ Draw which jackpots by $50 each week if not claimed. Meals prepared by our new resident Chef (Fingers and Forks Catering) are available from 6.00pm with the menu available on our Facebook page earlier each week. When it comes to bowling the Bedford Bowling Club can lay claim to providing the best of both worlds with two superb traditional grass greens together with the latest in synthetic green development as our new premier bowling surface. The Club also has two greens (0ne grass green and the synthetic green) under the latest in LED lighting. Members and guests can experience our great game under lights.and in all weather conditions. A variety of memberships is available, from annual Social Membership through to full Pennant Player Membership.

The facility at our Club also cater for social events and are available for hire at very reasonable rates. We have a capacity of 150 patrons and can offer a range of settings including a Hall setting, a Lounge Bar and we can even offer the opportunity to combine your function with a game of social bowls. We are a fully licensed premises with a full commercial kitchen available and we cater for all types of functions and gatherings.
